Hey guys,

I was invited under a recent draw to apply.

My score in the system is 462 (with 2 years of experience). However, when I calculated it and added up all my hours - it's 1 year and 10 months in reality.

Even though, I would pass this draw with 1 year of experience - do I need to write an LOE explaining that I actually only have 1 year and 10 m experience instead of 2 years?

You can add an LOE to explain the additional points granted but you’re not claiming for. Alternatively, if you’d be able to meet 2 years of experience within the 90 day application deadline, you can submit your app after that.

Your LOE should be realistic. If you have 1Y10M then it is what it should say and you will need to provide evidence of this (T4s, paystubs, etc.)
