Hi,
I need help pls.

I am going to Canada in last of this january with my 2 kids and spouse on PR visa.

My problem is this if we move to Canada in this month then we have only 1 year and 9 months left till Aug 2017 ( 5 years from date of 1st landing), mean in 1st five year slab, we can complete only 1.9 years.

I am so worried, visa officer may reported us or may create problem forgiving us entry in canada or I dont know what problem we will face or it will be smooth.

Is there any one who has the same case like me.

Pleas share your experience asap.

Your reply will help me alot

Thanks

Sagar

So basically you got PR back in 2012, then left Canada shortly after. So all of you will be entering with valid PR cards, not any visa.

If you can't meet the 2-in-5-years Residency Obligation, there's a chance you will be reported upon entry to Canada by CBSA. If you're reported, you'll still be allowed to enter Canada and will have the chance to appeal that to CIC if you think there's some humanitarian reason you couldn't meet the RO. If CIC doesn't accept your reason, your PR status will be revoked.

If you aren't reported, then you need to stay in Canada until you meet the RO, and only then can you apply to renew your card.

Thanks or reply,

CBSA Reported chance is 100 % or 50-50?

Thanks

It's not 100%. But no one can tell you what the % is.
