67 points but application returned from 2010 applicants

Getting the 67 points does not guarantee your application will be accepted. That is just the minimum bench mark, the application is then assessed for other factors.

An example is a medical worker, whom may get over 67 points with their education score but the VO decides that their language score is not high enough for them to be able to work in their relevant job field, so rejects the application. Another example is again 67 points reached but the job description with the application does not match one of the occupations on the preferred NOC list.

Getting the points is just the start of the process, you need to also factor in other considerations when applying.

Yes they can..........one of my well known friend have job offer of Marketing Manager...........but his IELTS score was just 5.5 ........so they deny the visa that you language ability is not up to your job duties....so they refused........

dear i don't agree with u to refuse the application on having less IELTS score. if VO is not satisfies he wil give u 60 days to improve ur score. here r some examples on the forum who were given the time to improve their score.

My case is no rejected, but I fear aout that bcs my points are accurate 67 .

I have come to know some VOs make sometimes mistake in calculating points if someone has 67 points (for example return application and say you have 66 points), they can make the mistake.
London VISA office

Visa office still perform a 2nd eligibility review even for post-June-2010 cases. There have been cases where they disagree with CIO and have rejected people for lack of points (for example, recently one of our thread members was rejected at visa office because they deemed he had provided insufficient proof of relative, so was not awarded those adaptability points by the visa office - even though CIO passed his eligiblity review).

Such cases are fairly rare, but be warned, just because CIO have sent you a positive eligibility review, you can still fail eligibility review at the visa office. Once you are "In Process" on ECAS after RBVO, you are safely through the 2nd eligibility review and you are then entering the document background check phase of the process.

Well Abbasi Sahab,
there is only confusion in my education points I have 16 years of Masters of Public Administration from Karachi University & 3 Years Bachelors of Public Admin (H) & in my Post Secondary Education I showed 3 years Diploma of Associate Engineer,
for that I consulted few famous consultants & they all gave me 25 points for my education ,
I also had an assessment of my case at the same website & got a positive feedback from Mr Cohen but after reading that manual I m a bit hopeless, anyway my points details r below
Education years : 17 (I gave 25 points)
(Secondary Level Education: 10 years,
Post Secondary 3 years ( I have A Diploma Of Associate Engineer which is equals to Intermediate Science/Post Secondary but the duration of this course is 3 years )
Bachelors (3 years Hons)
Masters 1 Year,
Total years of formal education are 17)
Age : 10 points
English professionacy : 12 (speaking 7, writing 7, listening 6, reading5.5)
experince : 21 points
Relative in Cananda : 0 points
Wife point : 0 points (Single)
Total Points 68
I pray my Allah to get me PER, in case of any thing bad i'll resend my case after changing my marital status :'( or improving IELTS scores,
one of my friends he had 16 years of 2 masters degrees & he was awarded 25 points & he has got the visa will be landed in Aug, hope for the best Allah is great
