5708 plan to stay date

as a settler, with permanent residency application submitted, paid, and in process, I am filing for an extension to my visitor status. My husband, a Canadian citizen, is sponsoring me. The form asks how long I plan to stay. I would have put "indefinitely", but you must put a date. We have bought a home and moved here. Does anybody know what date I should put? I was thinking of putting 2050. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Also, how do you sign the document online? Just type the signature, and validate or print/sign/scan?

No - you need to ask for something realistic. Ask for 1 year and include an explanation that you are waiting for the processing of your spousal sponsorship application to be completed.
