"If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship?"

Have we visited each other while we were dating long distance? or have we visited each other since we have gotten married? The question is very confusing, especially since they ask "when was the first time you met in person?" at the beginning of part c.

I had the same doubt but then we decided to answer this question considering after we got married. We also included copies of the boarding tickets and the stamps on my passport as evidence.

The question ask....if you visited each other before your marriage or started dating.......if you did, like @Ciciab74 provide proof, airline tickets, used boarding passes, any passport visa entry-exit stamp.

It means have you visited each other since you started dating (your relationship began). It is very important that you show proofs of your visits before your wedding as it would show time that you both spent together before you decided to get married so it’s not like you guys got married on the first visit (which usually is considered a red flag).

Thanks everyone for the replies. So we met in September 2016, and started dating December 2016. Then i went to see her in September 15th 2017, and got married the next day (September 16th 2017). So would I answer no?

Did you physically meet her in September 2016 or it was online? Just list all the visits that you’ve made to see your significant other from the date you travelled to visit them for the first time to this day.

I’m pretty sure you can still list this visit if you travelled there to visit her. It would help IRCC to understand how your relationship developed so it’s not like you got married after just one day of seeing her in person for the first time. List this visit, the visit on which you got married and any other visits when you guys actually spent time together. You can explain everything in that section where they ask about any additional information in support of your relationship that you first travelled to see her in September 2016, then you started dating in December 2016 and then got married in September 2017 like you explained here.
