Hey Everyone,
I am posting here because a lot of people know about this imigration & help each other out.

I have this scenario, I worked from May 16 to July 8 in skill level job then next week I got another job from July 14 till present date which is too skill job. As we can see ,there was gap of 5 days but at same time, i got employee next week & had been working 30+ in present & previous job.

So, would i complete 1 year on May 16,17( because i was employed all weeks in 1 year) or May 21,17?

Please help & advise.

Regards

Please don't mind, I am not arguing but I did 30+ in each week of 1 year, so why would i need extra 5 days?
Regards
Please keep it in mind that CIC has their own algorithm which is unknown by us to calculate your experience time. There's about a month's offset between their calculation and the real days.

In order to make the most safe decision leaving no controversy, no one can argue that you would have 1 year experience after May 21st.

It's the best to see it in the pool than asking here.

Okay, if draw happens next week & i get ita. I read that if i submit docs after 21 may then there won't be any problem?

Because you not only need to complete the required hours but you also have to work for a period of one year.

You cannot (obviously) count work experience while not working for those 5 days.

I agree but my situation is that I completed 30+ hours in one week then left job, coming next week i worked for 30+ hours again till now.
Even if i had worked those hours for 4-5 days that wouldn't have mattered because rule is 30+ hours per week for year.
Isn't thar right, please advise?

If it is your work experience only, it must be one continuous year, 12 months, without any gap. CEC and FSW also require at least 12 month continuous job.

If this is Canadian experience, then May 21 (because you cannot count that week in between jobs). Canadian experience does not need to be continuous (I cannot find whether you have stated that this is in Canada or outside.)

If it is foreign work experience, then it would be July 13 (because it needs to be continuous).

Firstly,It's canadian experience.
Secondly there wasn't week unemployment, what i am trying to say here is that say One week I completed 30+ hours & left job. Next week, in it's middle i started new job with 30+ hours. So , overall both of the weeks were employed with 30+ hours but just gap of some days

Have you created your EE profile already? It asks your month when you started. It doesn't ask the exact day. I had less than 1 year experience, but I got points for 1 year experience.
But I will have more than 1year when I submit my application.
According to your first month(May) you will get 35 points.

Go for it, apply whenever you'd like and let us know how it works out.
