Hello, I am Nigerian living in the UK, has been in the UK since 2010. Last year March, I applied for last year September study permit but was refused on the grounds of personal assets and financial status, travel history, purpose of visit and immigration status in country of residence. This year I applied again, for this year September study permit, it was refused on the grounds of travel history, purpose of visit and immigration status in country of residence. The visa office stated that I am am free to reapply if I can express/defend the concerns. My UK visa is expiring October this year. I am a software developer with own registered business here in the UK, and I shuttle between Nigeria and UK on yearly basis since 2013. I reapplied and tried defending those concerns, even showing existing retainership contracts with companies in Nigeria, and my flight tickets to/from Nigeria and clearly stated that I plan to go Nigeria after my studies to solidify the already existing contracts as well as finding new one (as I am a software developer consultant). I also expressed the need to study the course. My highest degree achieved so far is Masters, I am going to the school to do a Graduate Certificate program in Cyber Security which is very pivotal to all skills I have obtained so far. Despite these, I was refused again on the grounds of purpose of visit and immigration status in country of residence,

Now, I want to reapply for January intake from my home country Nigeria this time making it the 4th application withing 18 months, will this be seen as kind of desperation or persistence, are there chances of approval? I really need to do this course, and your advice too.

Thank you for reading.

It looks pretty desperate. It also doesn't make sense to take a graduate certificate after you already have a Masters. The graduate certificate is a much lower level of education. Any reason you didn't just complete this education in the UK?
