it's not fair if people miss out the ITA due to technical difficulties .. al though they may have enough people to invite they should consider everyone .. so it makes sense to delay the draw ..

Canada should have tested the system better before implementing it. But that's a different story.

BTW, I noticed that you are waiting for Pre-screen approval. I just received mine today but I'm not sure if I should go ahead with paper-based PNP. The process is painfully slow.

I updated my profile yesterday to get more points for canadian education and stuff and it wasn't applied until 12 today. Now I am sitting on 499 so expecting an ITA whenever the next draw happens.

someone posted in the Ontario thread they called cic and they said they won't do a draw today because a lot of people are having technical difficulties with their profiles so prob on December 7th and there will be two more in December after that. Not sure how true that is

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on November 30, 2016 and ending on December 1, 2016 is:

a. in the case of foreign nationals who are members of the provincial nominee class referred to in paragraph 2(d) of the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, 559; and
b. in any other case, zero.

Determination – required rank

(2) The foreign national referred to in subsection 1 and who, on November 30, 2016 at 14:58:44 UTC, have been assigned a total of 786 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System, as set out in the Ministerial Instructions referred to in paragraph (1)(a), occupies the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.
