Hi everyone, i am working as a data coordinator. I have joined the company on January 28th 2020 and then due to COVID-19 got laid off from my job on 15th May 2020. I joined back on 28th of September 2020 and due to winding down of my project, my last date on job would be 30th April 2021. I was working for 40hr/week. I have counted my work experience and on 30th of April, i would be completing my 48 weeks. I have worked for more than 1560 hours and have spent more than 1 year with the same company. Would i be eligible to apply for PR under CEC or i have to find another noc b job and complete the pending 4 weeks in order to be eligible to apply under CEC?

You need one year of Canadian experience not including Covid layoffs to be eligible. If you are short a month, you need another month in skilled work.

You need to find another NOC A, B or 0 job and work another 4 weeks (minimum of 30 hours per week) before you can qualify to apply under CEC.

Thank you for clearing the doubt. I would start working on finding the another employment.
Thank you
