AOR was Dec 2021. Background still in progress. I have called IRCC and got in touch with the MP as well but they keep saying processing time is 24months so just be patient. My husband applied 3 weeks before me and got his citizenship certificate last month

In my case I thought it was ghost update at first, but turned out the system mistakenly flagged the old steps as "new updates" (such as AOR, background check, test completion,...)
