It's not a guarantee, but there's no harm in waiting either. Scores for the past 3 months were intentionally high and CIC has explained its reasoning before; as such there's always the chance of scores getting lower after CIC fixes their problem.

Anyway this is something beyond our control and should not be a source of frustration and despair. You control your life and you could #1 increase your points to get in the sweet 480 range; #2 apply for provincial nomination; #3 be more patient and wait; #4 consider other countries.

But seriously at this stage of the game, it's too early to give up. Keep trying :)

may be around 2000 EE applicants are waiting between 450-480 range
