why do single applicants get more points the married applicant

if you see.. points for age.. then for age band of 20 to 29 years... 100 points are given.

so I think, this is where single applicants are scoring more

Bro how can the score increase so much with improved IELTS score.

Ok very easy to understand and take me for example.

I have masters and 2 years work experience so ielts is like this now

You have to understand the funda of clb into ielts

Clb 9 in ielts means listening 8 and speaking, writing and reading is 7(you can follow cic page where they have converted clb into ielts)

I have scored in ielts like this writing 8 (clb 11), speaking 7.5(clb 10), listening 7(clb 7) and reading (clb 9) this gives me 399 points because i have scored clb9 or above in all sections except listening. If you score clb 9 then you will get full points in language and 50 points in skills transferability.

Where as in my case if i scored 8 in listening it would take my points to 450 but i am at 399 and 25 in skills transferability.

I hope you will understand.
