dear FARPADANA,

which means i don't need IELTS at the first stage?
when i filled the application package and when i sending it to the CNO, i do not need to include IELTS test result sheet together with the application????????is that okay????????

sorry to bother you again

YES YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT ANY IELTS RESULT FOR THE ASSESSMENT ITSELF.
YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE IT LATER ALONG WITH THE OTHER REQUIRMENTS FOR CRNE.
you can easly request for an application package here https://www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/about-registration/assessment-package-request/
for the assemsnet you need to fill up and send:
Payment information form ($678.00 (HST included) - International Graduates applying as a Registered Nurse (RN)).
Application for Certificate of Registration in the General Class.
Authorization to Release Information
and include a copy of your Nursing Degree.

your nursing school has to send:
Verification of Course Completion form and a copy of your school Transcript .
then you will get the assessment results in 12 weeks.

WRITE THE AND ASK A PACKAGE.

Hi Lyodina,

That means u can sit for CRNE under CNO only if you have residency/work permit?

I wrote CRNE in Toronto without any of the above my PR is under process

THANX

Hi Sarass01,
No, you can sit the CRNE even with just a visitor/ temporary visa only...but, they won't grant your registration without them seeing your working permit or PR status even if you passed it.
:)

hi, my apologies...you can apply to cno even without the ielts as they requires it before they give the registration...i mixed up it with british columbia as i have applied to both.
:)

in CNO.
First like other centers your nursing degree and education should be assessed to see if your education meet the minimum requirment and standard, for this stage you do not need to submeet IELTS( this step can be done even before landing).but after recieving the official assessment letter you need the IELTS to go further.

I got it from the CIC website.I don't know about Dec.23,but I am expecting the cut off will be next week. The one will be affected are those people who did not submit their documents on time, and the next list of new NOC will be after or on June 30 2011 as reported. You are in the good hands, since you are on the waiting list to receive your visa.

Congrats!

If you are using DHL,you can monitor it on their website. It is very helpful and at least it will lessen your worries.Usually 3-5 working days, from Philippines to Halifax.
