yes you can, indeed you better start before landing.

fortunately you can apply to cno even before your visa gets approved. in my case i started with my registration last august as advised by some seniors in the forum, it was a gamble on my part actually coz i still didn't have my mr at that time. good luck

IN CASE OF Ontario you are able to send your document for assessment before getting your PR FROM OUT SIDE OF CANADA.after which you will receive a letter whether you are eligible to go for CRNE directly or a Bridging program is needed. IELTS is required only when your assessment is done and your are already in Canada as a requirement for CRNE. so ask a package for assessment (Registration in general classes) now(in case of ontario) and before landing apply for IELTS.

dear FARPADANA,

which means i don't need IELTS at the first stage?
when i filled the application package and when i sending it to the CNO, i do not need to include IELTS test result sheet together with the application????????is that okay????????

ive just got my cno crne eligibility...as far as my experience, they are requiring ielts before they start the assessment. It should be included in your initial application...and then if you are eligible to sit the crne, they will require your pr status or working permit before they will grant registration.

hope that helps. :)

Hi Lyodina,

That means u can sit for CRNE under CNO only if you have residency/work permit?

I wrote CRNE in Toronto without any of the above my PR is under process

THANX
