i emailed them about it and they replied that proof of immigration is visa, so we've got to have it first, perhaps yung ky aspire is she applied TRV while waiting for her permanent resident visa bcoz, i believe she applied PR too...but we'll try to ask her to be sure..

Fellow Nurses,

Go for Manitoba accreditation. Take the license. After working for 2 years in Manitoba, transfer to any province that you realy liked to stay. Though license in Manitoba is not automatically recognized in Ontario, BC or any provinces, but 99% approval is at stake if you request for transfer. This is an easir route than to work as LPN in Ontario, while undergoing some bridging programs before you can take the exam. I doubt if one has enough time to study for CRNE once you are already employed as a practical nurse in Canada.

aspire,

d ba you applied permanent resident visa too? so, you mean you applied TRV now to take the CRNE while your PRV has not arrived yet? am i correct?

thanks..

and one more... di ba we have to give an address in Canada where we will be goin? like an address of a relative or friend? If we will change our port of entry from vancouver to manitoba then I cant provide an address of somebody in manitoba. what address will i give to the immig officer? Is it ok to give the address of my sister who is in yaletown vancouver?

I have a pending PR application. It was in the in process stage since July 31, 2009. I am expecting for my medicals anytime soon. I was too lucky then. During the time that I applied for CRNM registration, proof of Canadian residency was not a part of the requirement. CRNM even gave me a referal letter (which I will later post it in this forum if I have the time to type it)addressed to the visa officer. so I can be helped in securing for a visit visa.
Again, I was able to get the General Registration (GN) from the Colleger of Registered Nurses of Manitoba wihout showing them any proof or residency in Canada. I had never been to Canada.
Just last night I received my passport with the visit visa in it. I filed for it 14 days ago.

Opo, I gave the address of my friend in Winnipeg. In fact the GN registration approval letter and the referal letter from CRNM intended for the visa officer so I can be helped in my visit visa application, were mailed by CRNM to the address of my friend in Manitoba. They asked me for a Canadian address, so I believe it doesnt matter if you will give the address of your sister in Vancouver.

Hello Bindu Jacob,

They will give points to your working experiences that fall on NOC skills type A and B. NOC 4131 is type B, so cheer up, they will give you the maximum points for work experience, even if some of your work experiences are not in line with NOC 3152. Yes you have 21 points on your work experience.

Hi Rogue, thanks for your substantive reply. Ask ko lang possible ba na magparegister ako both Alberta and Manitona for Registration ng sabay at para makapagtake ng CRNE exam sa Manitoba na Alberta. Maglaland kc ako sa Alberta at dun muna ako magstay and maghanap ng work for a while. If may eligibility na ko Manitoba then take ako CRNE at transfer sa Manitoba later on? Pwede ba yun? Thanks.

hi i'm new here. im applyin under 3152. been so anxious ever since they changed the policy last june 26. my application was lodged june 23. due to the changes, had to call fedex to recall my application coz i know it would be unprocessed anyway coz it would reach CIC past june 26. we just lodged our complete application along with the documents sept.1 2010 so guess the next step is to wait along with everbody else. i have a lot of questions tho,

1. our POF is CAD 17,500 only + assets worth CAD 9,000 ---- would this be honored as POF? or insufficient coz they prefer cash as pof? ($19,600 is required for 4 family members)

2. worked as staff nurse for 1 year and nursing clinical instructor for more than 3 years already---- would this be considered as 4 yrs of work experience or just my staff nurse experience would be accepted?

HELP PLS....

I don’t have much information in regards to your experience but yah POF should be in form of easy to cash equalling.. i mean it should not be fixed assets like property or gold etc.. CIC usually preferred saving account in any currency and should fulfilled the requirement in your case which is CAD 19,600
as you only required $2100 I would suggest you to arrange it near to the period when you expecting further corresponds from VO
Still you should also get guidance from seniors. As they might give you some good idea about it.

@ Sultanali

thanks for answering one of my concerns. really appreciate it :)

so does that mean that my application might NOT be granted because i lack $2,100? :(
