so your MSN degree is how many years ba?it's 2 years
do i really need to fax them the OPTION FORM? DEFINITELY YES and confirm if they received it
is there a deadline for the submission of the BET? i called up cno regarding this and they told me that there's no deadline but they did encourage me to submit asap.i was not able to complete my bet, actually the only question i was able to answer was that about nursing education and experience, hahaha! i really had a hard time answering other questions that is why my eligibility was really a pleasant surprise!
from what i understand from your timeline, they went ahead and made a decision on your case even without the BET and other documents... yes and i strongly believe it was because of my MSN
i don't want to send a verification of registration to the state of vermont na kasi eh, gastos pa mukhang wala naman bearing... what do you think? im not sure about this matter but i think it would be better if u send it to vermont just to be sure. di ba anyone can chek if u are registered in US thru the net?

khai, hi... i applied last nov... they wrote me after 6 weeks, in jan 2011, informing me that they already received my application and verification of course completion... then feb 2011 they wrote me again and asked me to submit further documents, BET etc... just got it yesterday due to snail mail...

goodluck! i'll let you know what happens with my application...

Thanks..i could probably expect an email from them next week since they received my course completion form and transcript on Feb. 10. Should you have any tips on how to answer the BET, please share it with me..hehe

B.E.T. = Baccalaureate Equivalency Table. It is developed to assist the College in determining whether you have the competencies that are comparable to a currently approved baccalaureate nursing program in Ontario. The objective of the the table is to provide evidence that you have achieved the entry-to-practice competencies necessary to practice as an entry level nurse in Ontario.

you will only receive this after you have submitted your initial application to CNO and if CNO will require you to submit additional information/documents to further assess you. along with BET you will also receive the verification forms for your employer and registration office.

others who are lucky enough are not required to fill up BET, and are instead given an eligibility to take CRNE.

hope this answers your queries.

I havent read it but going through the form, I'm already getting discouraged. I honestly feel like I'm gonna blow this. I just feel lost and not confident in doing this, yet I want this done as soon as possible :(

thank you.

congratulations talaga!... so your MSN degree is how many years ba? i have a MAN but i'm lacking the thesis part, yun na lang ang kulang ko... i already received my assessment and i got the same additional requirements... do i really need to fax them the OPTION FORM? or will it be understood that i will submit additional requirements if i do not withdraw my application? plus is there a deadline for the submission of the BET? from what i understand from your timeline, they went ahead and made a decision on your case even without the BET and other documents... i don't want to send a verification of registration to the state of vermont na kasi eh, gastos pa mukhang wala naman bearing... what do you think?

thank you thank you for all your advice...

Make sure you submit the option form to do BET.. thats the 40 day deadline. :P
