My prediction (more like my wishful thinking) is that they go down to 423. VERY wishful thinking indeed!

Last time when they held a draw for 1000 candidates the next draw was even for less candidates. In case there are less candidates for pnp and lmia they decrease the number. Even with 1500 candidates the score will go in 460. It will only come down in 450's if they have two successive draws of 1500. And with draw not declared today I guess it will come friday but in case it moves to next wednesday , the score is further going to go up. I am at 452 with my visa expiring soon

That's what I predicted when they released the Immigration Plan. With 21,000 nominations less for economic stream, they obviously cut down the number of itas for each draw -> draw score must be up. I don't see how draw score can be lowered down below 450 in 2016.

it wont be lower than 450 for sure even with the old draws now i suspect its not going below 470. its getting difficult day by day

Before the new Immigration Plan was released. Everyone was hoping for the score to come down below 450, as many websites quoted a statement from an IRCC agent which basically said that IRCC had cleared all the backlog from previous year, so they expected the draw score would go down. However, no one knew that Trudeau government will double the number of refugee and cut 20,000 slots for Economic stream.

So, 470 might be the new 450.

If 470 is the new 450, then OINP might as well bump up the minimum EE score for eligibility. There's just too many people between 400 and 470 (though, bulk of them still in the 400-450 range).

Agreed. It is unfair to give people hope when actually without a perfect IELTS score and a Masters degree, assuming you are young enough, you don't stand a chance.
