Dear Naija,
Please advice me. I need 3 points more for my application to go through. IELTS test scores 8,7,7,7 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking can bridge this gap.
Or a job appointment in Canada. I tried IELTS twice had band score 7 both times(score 21). I feel like pursuing job search (Lecturing, Instructor, Dental Clinician...... or any related decent job). Anyone that had been through this stage?

It tends to be quite difficult to find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer you a permanent job and also go through the process of obtaining an approved LMIA (you need an approved LMIA in addition to the job offer). Note that this process costs the employer $1,000 and the LMIA can take anywhere from 6-20 weeks to process (and this is after the employer has advertised the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for the role).

I would forget about looking for lecturing and instructor jobs. Your employer will have to prove that they can't find a Canadian to take the job in order for the LMIA to be approved. It's next to impossible to prove this for jobs related to teaching. I don't know what the chances are of finding a Dental Clinician job from outside of Canada.

I think it's probably more realistic to increase your IELTS score than to find a job in Canada.
