3 ghost updates in one day

Hello everyone. yesterday was weird day with mixed feelings

in the morning i received a ghost update and my eligibility review started

in the evening i received another 2 ghost updates - 30 mins between each one, my medical status changed to " we are reviewing your medicals exams " and i have not taken any upfront medicals, waiting for request and the other update was about my background check it changed from " we are processing your background check " to " Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check "

and in this morning ( very earlier ) i received a request letter to get Police clearance

Experts here any insights ? or signs ? i applied in 15 April and those updates were so fast and in one day. is that normal ? since my country processing time is 12 weeks

Post Dec 2018, IRCC has implemented several ghost updates after AOR. As officer opens your application and go through checklist requirement, system sends ghost update but actually nothing is happening, and or you will not receive email. Its normal to receive ghost update at IP1, however if you receive ghost update at IP2 “Inprogress 2” then actual email comes within 24hrs after you log out. So update at IP1 may say we are processing medical results but you did not receive request for medical. So wait until IP2, you will receive email asking for medical exams.. these updates are way toward PPR. I know its kinda confusing but dont worry, you are in progress

i understand but that is a study permit application not PR . or is it the same ?

It is the same, they use False and Real Ghost Updates after AOR. Final update, level 3 moved to PPR and CoPR for PR. For SP it is the same at Passport request and Final Approval as Final Ghost update 3

you actually were right. i received both emails in the following day. just received medical request

yes usually ghost updates happen without email notifications. they are signs of application progress and some hints if your application is taking positive or negative route.

IP1: In progress" 1: Background check changes to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Usually follows MEP

IP2 - "In progress" 2: Background check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

basically from what i know and i see your background status changes 2 or 3 times during the entire process

And on 27 April, there was an update to my profile (without an email) which showed that "medical examination passed". And my background check switched to "We are processing your background check". Would this be IP2?

Given the above, what should I expect next? My eligibility has not started yet.

i guess so this also could be IP1 . did your eligibility review start ?

if yes then IP2 if no then IP1

Thanks for your reply. Since the eligibility has not begun, perhaps it is IP1. I suppose that this means that my application still has some way to go.
