My mom is currently a visitor here in canada and her visitor visa will expire in feb 2 2018, her flight ticket going back home is on feb 5 are they allowing visitor to extend for 3 days only? can she go home on that date? pls help, is anyone experienced this?

Apply for an extension about 2 weeks before feb 2. That will give her implied status till she leaves.

Not that I am recommending it but highly unlikely that immigration will be knocking on the front door to pick her up for a 3 day overstay but any overstay is still illegal.

As per the previous poster officially you should apply and pay for in January an official extend stay as a visitor to cover the period but ask for min 2 weeks. Even if approval does not come through before she leaves she will be on implied status pending a decision.
