2yr MBA costs between 50k to 80k in Canada excluding living and other expenses.
2yr Global Business Management course costs 35k to 40k in Canada excluding living expenses.

In terms of syllabus, both have 75% similar courses/ studies to offer.
Which one is better and why?

MBA for best job prospects in Canada after you finish.

MBA from a public university for best chances of approved study permit (pay first year tuition and show min. $10k) and job prospects. Even then you may not get an approved study permit depending on your profile and if you already have a masters.

MBA IS ALWAYS A BETTER OPTION THAN ANY DIPLOMA... and if u apply in University of Canada West UCW it's under 40 k without living expenses..and yes course relevancy matters but if ur comparing with GBM than MBA is far better option..wrote ur sop carefully and explain ur job prospects with pay scales and designation u will be eligible for , in ur home country after completing ur studies in Canada ..best of luck
