hello..is someone here same like my situation? my wife who will sponsored me is 59 and i am 36.
is this a big deal in canadian embassy? it is hard to explain on my side but one thing im sure i really
loved my wife..and infact i was marrying her twice in one day.10am civil,3pm church.because we both

some people here who have same situation like us.is there an interview? pls help.. :(

An age difference like that will raise a red flag, so you need to prepare. Have as much evidence as possible of your relationship (phone calls, emails, pictures, tickets, letters from family, etc). The age difference makes it more likely that you will have to interview as well, but the best thing you can do at this point is to give them as much evidence as you can in the application.

Hi, I am also being sponsored by my husband who is 25 years older than I am. We have received letter stating that the sponsorship has been approved. We are living together but filed for the outbound process. We have joint accounts, life and disability insurance together, i am on his work health benefit plan. We have taken pictures together but he doesn't like taking pictures. Are there any other proof you suggest that we may have to provide. We also have letters from family and friends about our relationship.

It sounds like you have all the basics covered.

See the seven characteristics listed here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html;msg357741#msg357741 and possibly also consider the points in the next post under it. Anything you can think of that would support your qualifying for those characteristics could be useful: receipts, letters, IM chats, emails, cards, etc.

You are living together, so stress that and get as much proof of that as you can. A lease in both of your names would be great, or both names on the mortgage.
And try to convince him to take more pictures, especially of important events.

Be sure you will get an interview ! But there is no problem with immigration Canada with age gap. This situation happens very often. Myself 16 years old différence older than my husband and we did gets the visa in four months just after my husband gets his interview. Good luck, wish you the best.. As the others write to you, the much more proofs you get the better it is. Civil or religious wedding do not mean a lot for immigration.... mean nothing !
