2173 or 2174?? Please help

Hey guys,

I have an open work permit. I applied in June 2012 for my PR under CEC category. under noc code, 2173 but recently I found out that noc code 2174 matches my job duties too. They are very similar. Should I update my schedule 8 to include both noc codes?

Can visa office cause a problem. Both the noc codes are skill level A. How do noc codes work in the first place if they are similar in job duties.

You can only have one noc per job. As long as the duties for the chosen noc match the duties mentioned in your ref letter, you should be fine.

Out of curiosity, how much do they pay you?
