I applied on the 6th of January. Background check complete April 11th. No test needed as I'm over 55. LPP still outstanding. I'm in Newfoundland.

Team 3 was mentioned in the subject of the test invite email.
From what I've seen on FB group, team 1 handles applications for QC, NB, NS, PEI. Team 2 mostly handles applications for BC, AB, MB, SK and Team 3 cover Ontario based applications.

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. Wonder who handles NL. Probably team 1. Doesn't really apply to me as I didn't need to take the test. I just hope because I didn't need to take it, my app will be in a pile that doesn't get looked at in comparison with apps that have to do the test. If I don't get any update in a couple of weeks, I will be calling and getting GCMS notes.

thanks mate. Do you think once the test is passed the second time (hopefully they pass), the rest of the checks will pass relatively quickly (in a day or two) or will they also be taking proportionally long. So far, only Background has passed (in Mar) while I see others have been getting Oath invitations and a few even got their certificates.

To be honest, IRCC is unpredictable. We can only hope!
