I am an August 2025 applicant, I just got an AOR, but I couldn't connect it to the Gckey account, it gives an error, although all the information is as in the IMM form! Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?

Call IRCC , an agent will help you link it
I tried for the longest time and kept getting the error message.

I tried all the combinations
1 person
2 people
5 people
There were no 6 people (including a Canadian citizen child together as in the IMM form) I opened an IRCC technical notification.

I had same issue . When I called agent linked it within few minutes

It took me 5 months to receive AOR after X number

there is not exact number of months to PR card after AOR.

I applied for pr as a protected person when I see post i try to understand what to expect thats why im asking .

I applied march 2026 all I see on portal every day is submitted, I'm just waiting patiently while learning or gathering information to help me with the long wait time ..

X number is Temporary Application Number. You are going to get it in couple of months. It looks something like this : XG123456789

Couple of months after x number, you will receive AOR with Permanent Application Number G123456789 then after you will be able to link your application on gckey.
