My PR expires in June. I was just checking how I can renew it. it say in IRCC website if your PR expires in less than 9 month you can apply for renewal.

Yes correct. But I just dont want it to interfere with the citizenship process by any means and again delay it further (i would be glad if it interferes for the better and expedites the citizenship process haha ) so a bit skeptical about the PR card renewal at this time. For the citizenship application, we might have to again submit a webform giving details of the renewed PR card I think.

North Africans go to KSA in droves for the muslim pilgrimage, and they're significantly less affected by non-routine application than people from the Middle East, which would tell me that going to Saudi Arabia in itself doesn't mean much, SS wise. Everyone is trying to conjecture why applications end up in SS hell, but the truth is that it's not really possible to say, the system is too opaque for us to know.

That is true but a friend who was stuck too said people living in UAE had this issue ( I have too) but then so many people I know who have lived in UAE/KSA have no such issue so I believe either it is a random sample taken or there is some deeper link. All I say it is shit way to do things that you cannot tell if someone is a security threat for over two years.

So true. The ones did not have any issue might be in lesser percentage.
