This thread is to track and collate the various types of ADR sent by CIC for 2019. Members can post their experiences and questions related to ADR along with their timelines. This will greatly benefit for the folks who come across ADR(hope not) on their application

To start off with my experience,

We recently got ADR for our PR application requesting to submit:
Primary applicant (My Wife):
IMM 5562E - Travel Information

Dependent (Myself):
IMM 5562E - Travel Information
IMM 5406E - Family Information

I am assuming the following reasons for ADR:

1. I am already holding a Workpermit for Canada but couldn't travel due to project constraints.
2. We submitted the Biometrics from Japan since we had to move to Japan because of my recent Deputation.

Will there be any other reasons for which the ADR requested and will this cause any delay in processing the application.
Appreciate if somone could help us by throwing some light on this.

Hi my aor 27 jan 2019
ADR 12 March (schedule A 5669imm)
Submitted on 16 March (with our electronic signature)
ADR 2 same schedule A with original signature of my husband.
Mep 18 March
Reason they wanted seems to me because of my husband. Who is dependent and lived 1 year in Australia.
Our earlier EE application dated 1 dec 2108 got cancelled on 11 jan 2019 because of his Australian pcc . We uploaded state Victoria pcc instead of AFP . So technically we had 2 EE profiles PLUS he alone had Canada TRV refusal ( though later when we applied together we got ) . Now waiting for golden mail

Hello all,

I got ADR for spouse Japan PCC on 16 Jan'20 and deadline to submit is 16 Mar'20. I got PCC today and will be submitting by 04 Mar'20. I would like to know if this will delay my application timeline. Will the application be kept on hold or will other aspects be checked when ARD is awaited?

I don't think it affects the timeline much because they put deadlines on the ADR. My friend was asked for a Schedule A, and she still got her PPR in exactly four months. @vickdavinci above received three ADRs and also got PPR in four months. Of course, the more quickly you get the documents to them, the more quickly they can process your application.

Ok. Thanks for the response. I have submitted ADR before time. Now I am more worried about COVID-19 affecting the PR application timeline.

hey there! when did ur application get approved after ADR>?

My applications isnt approved yet. Delayed due to COVID. All parametes passed in May end. Waiting for final approval

Today I received request to submit pcc. However, they have stated on the letter to submit original pcc to the High commission of Canada in Delhi. Is this normal? Do they ask to send documents like this?
One point here is that I submitted my pcc after actual application through web form. Is it possible they have not referred it and thus have asked to send it again?
Also, am I required to have new pcc done(my previous one is just 4 months old) or just send original copy of previously submitted pcc to mailing address provided?
Should I ask visa officer if they received it previously?
I am very confused.

Hello there,
I have exactly same situation as you. May I know did you get your PPR now?

Yes got PPR in Dec 2020 and COPR in Jan. Waiting for travel restrictions to be lifted.
