I'm back with the outcome! Had LRSW - 8.5,8,7,6.5. Sent for EOR on 17th November and got result after 10 weeks. Speaking changed to 8.5 and writing changed to 8! If you are quite confident of your writing and speaking, then EOR seems like a way out! Thanks to you all for the encouragement!

I got my scores today . L 8.5 r 7 s 7 w 6.5 .. I am quite sure (not too confident) that my essay is eligible for band 7 . My task 1 letter was very good . I now have oscillating thoughts as whether to apply for eor or not ..please suggest some ideas

I am sure my essay is eligible for 6.5 and little greater than 6.5 band .shall I go for eor .. in your case we're u damn sure that your essay is worth band 7

Took the IELTS on September 30th, requested EOR on October 27th and got back the results yesterday with an increase in the Writing from 6.5 to 7.5. This has boosted my score and hopes from 388 to 435.

Seeing as how there has been a lot of recent sucess on EOR, i highly recommend it, if you truly feel you did better and the gap is within 1 point.
