hi, guys, i applied my visa on aug 2 -2017. and my background check was started on march-2-2018. can some one tell me still how long it will take for the passport request, please and thanks. the visa office is at new delhi at india.

Did yyou get an Open work permit ?
So, it's usually : request for police checks ans Schedule A, medicals, then pasport request, landing interview, and that's it. Then 2 months aprox to get the PR card.
But all these steps have different order depending on case and country. But just be patient.
