Hello everyone. I submitted an application to sponsor my dad this year and I haven't heard anything from CIC yet.
My first question is for those who submitted the same thing, have anyone got a confirmation yet? I made sure that I used the updated forms and made sure I filled out all the needed information. I sent it through Canada post and confirmed that CIC received my application January 4, 2016 at 10am.
I kept checking my bank account and they haven't deducted anything from my credit card yet. Is this a validation that my application wasn't accepted? I have been applying for three years and I'll be really sad if this still didn't go through.
