They received my application on January 8th, and I got my AOR by email just an hour ago. From the looks of the spreadsheet, you ought to get yours within the next few days. Don't worry.

ETA: Wait. The timeframe for this part depends on your VISA Office. Oops. To clarify, mine is Mississauga.

At this rate I might have an AOR for my January 19th application by this weekend Woohoo ;D I shouldn't raise my expectations so much But here's hoping!!

Thanks and YES the Mexico City VO! I've been living in Manzanillo, Mexico for more than 5 years now. I see your file transfer to Mexico on March 7!! Hopefully you will get stage 2 AOR in a couple months. And then things will move along quickly. Where in Nicaragua are you? My wife and I rode through Nicaragua in Nov 2013 while on a 10 month motorcycle trip to South America. LOOOOOVED Playa Majagual near San Juan del Sur. Coulda stayed there a couple weeks... or years lol.
