I was busy renewing driver license an health card and change my last name to my hubby's last name

I hope the rest of the process goes fast for all of us and we get reunited with our spouses ASAP!

Seems like there's a few of us who sent end of April and haven't heard anything (No AOR, emails, EcAs updates) has anyone actually had any luck when calling? So far they've said they can't update us when we call (it was the 5th time I called today in total)

Hi you're not alone. But more patience, it will come. My husband just called CIC at this moment and they updated him about the status of my application which is Application Received for 2 months in ECAS. Fortunately last June 26,2015 they emailed my agency, saying he can sponsor me and that the application is being sent back to CEM already.

My husband from Edmonton called CIC and spoke to an agent, saying they emailed our agency last June 26, 2015 saying he is elligible to sponsor me and they sent the application back to Philippines already. Is that a good sign? How long will it be before I hear from Canadian Embassy Manila? And what is SA? Thanks!!!

congratulations. click on the link below my signature and look at the 2015 outland spousal spreadsheet - it will give you a good idea of what the wait for AOR stage 2 looks like for the Philippines. Each Visa office is different.

Thank you Canadianinlove ...I couldn't change them as my hubby had the original Marriage Certificate..he had to get some kind of international stamp and then mailed it to me. Of Course I submitted it all with the application but since everything expires for birthday...I decided to wait 1 more month before changing everything

Hello Manu26, I just got my SA email today ....but it didn't state the file transfer date...so how do you know that they transferred yours on May 26th?
From what I've seen from people some offices don't send AOR2 and some delay about 1 month

I think we have similar timeline. My application was received by CIC on April 28th. I did not get AOR1 or SA, but my wife got AOR2 from NDVO on July 1st.

Thanks Kyo9000! They confirmed over the phone on Friday...but I was surprised I got email today (much quicker than I was told).

I think this April group of applicants is being processed soo fast...maybe CIC is trying to look good lately and have better stats. Lucky us

We also got SA email today! And yeah, transfer date wasn't stated in the letter. ECAS changed to DM last thursday. Congrats to everyone who got their SA's!!!
