Need help on our application please

I applied for FSW in the month of May 2014 from India and got my File number in October meanwhile we moved to Dubai on a work assignment and now working/living here in Dubai. we were asked to complete our medicals by 27th April. we completed everything and sent notifications to CIC from Dubai yesterday 14 th April 2015

My question is if I am asked to submit my passport can I submit it here in Dubai for my visa stamping ? my consultant told that either one of us should travel to India to and submit the passports and cant do it here in Dubai. as we are working its quite hard to travel for this. Could someone please assist us in this matter. Has anyone gone through the same situation as ours? and could you also guide us in knowing approximately how long will it take for the next stage? of asking us to submit the passports.

Congrats for Medicals, next step can take 2 weeks to 2 months after receipt of Medicals by VO....in majority of cases it is well within 2-4 weeks time....yes you can request VO for submission of passports in Dubai for visa stamping as I have seen many peoples change their location of passports submission....all you have yo do is to inform him once your 3rd is updated i.e Medical results have been received...alternatively you can also inform now and request for same.
