That's too long ,, send email to case specific enquiry ,, include ur details like date of birth , passport num,,name,,etc request them for status,, try to send email to both Sydney nova scotia and ndvo,, gud luck

I tried to call today to the general line of CIC and they said they don't have any information and told me to contact Sydney office where I mailed the documents. I found only mailing address for them. Do you know their email address? Thanks.

Has your credit card been charged/dd encashed? Though it is not a guarantee of your file moving ahead necessarily..

The only time the credit card was charged was at the moment of application ($550). Nothing since then...

Hi Bloom,

Arranged employment=LMO (which is now Lmia). It gets you a work permit which is valid only for work with that specific employer I.e. Closed work permit

We are in Canada and our employers got LMO on the basis of which they hired us/extended our employment with them.

Yes, LMO is possible when you are not in Canada. There are many agencies that get you in your with employers who need people with your skills. But caution is necessary. There are way too many frauds happening.

If someone get a closed work permit, will he bound to work with that company? If he leaves the job after 1/2 year will this affect applicant on getting PR/citizenship?

If u get closed work permit u r not allowed to work anywhere except in the company u got work permit for until u get ur PR,, once u get pr u can work anywhere,,,

I have a question,According to my work experience my designation was insurance manager noc 0121 but my job responsibilities was of insurance sales supervisor noc 6231 (noc b),which occupation i can use for my fedral application,as i have arranged employment in noc 0621.

So,it doesn't matter what kind of experience i had in past in noc 0,a and b.

So i can select my current job of 0621 in the forms as the primary occupation

But,i dont have the experience of 1 year in the noc 0621

Okay u can apply for pr with ur noc in which u had atleast 1 year experience ,, bcozzzzzz u need atleast 1yr experience in fsw,,, u can use ur lmo as am arranged employment which fetches u 10 points in ur point grid,, good luck

But the one year experience is not in the 50 eligible occupations, but in noc b, can I still go forward
