I got my last notes on May 5th and I applied for next notes same day. I clarified with them on medicals on May 9th and they asked me for some details same day n I checked with them on May 14th that did they got medicals or not n they replied back they got the medical . so yes, the notes were generated before clarifying about medical .. i applied for notes again today morning and hoping that it will have some changes.. I also attached consent form so that i can see my spouse info also.. need to wait one more month... but with notes it helps n i know that i have to wait n i dont stress out...

Hello All

Today in the afternoon, my Sponsor (My Brother) met with the MP to inquire about my application status. The MP said they will contact CIC and and give him an update..

People who met with MPs -- can you tell me whats the turnaround time.. when can i expect a call from MPs office..

Also in the mean time can anybody tell me how can i apply for work permit myself. the provice that nominated me is sask.

In my case MP contacted the CIC right away in my presence. Why do you wanna apply for a work permit ? you are almost there with your PR application and hopefully you will get it soon.

if you do wanna apply for work permit then you will have to submit the application to the Canadian consulate in New York and the processing time is around 4 months and for more info you can contact the SINP directly or have your brother inquire on your behalf

No passport back yet, they received it on May 22nd. One of my friends had to wait for 2,5 month, hopefully it won't take them that long. Has anybody received passport back yet?

Everybody I know got their passport back in 10 to 12 days!!! Almost 13 days now.... No passport back yet... I guess they wanna do same thing as they did with ours files .... Toooo damm slow..

Decision made last night..
Hopefully PR will be done soon, almost exactly one year from when application was received.

• We received your application for permanent residence on July 2, 2013.
• We started processing your application on December 11, 2013.
• Medical results have been received.
• (2014-06-10) A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

as per the last notes in April , they did not start reviewing my file and my status is not yet even changed to "in process"

u dont need letter of support if your file is in process for pr . .

TADA.... PPR received I just received ready for Visa email. I will be sending my Passports tomorrow..
