as per your 1 April 2014 notes (received on May 1st), they did not start reviewing your application in Ottawa, same as my case, so once they start the review they will mark eligibility passed as you have your certificate of nomination and they will inoform their security agenency to start the security check.

this is my understanding.

Yes. Thats what they told me but ask them why a particular step is taking excess time and that's my concern. And my friend its all depends on person sitting on chair that how seriously they take u. One of my friend she called them and they told her that she is gonna get her ppr in next two weeks, if not she can contact her again.
And when i called them for an appointment lady said u can just tell me ur file no. and I will contact u.... I must say my area MP office is very helpful.

i went to my MP's office today, told them my Aor is july 2 and in process since nov 29 2013, the secretary told me i have to wait overall 15 moths and beyond that if nothing happens then i can come to them !! i thought they wud help me do the status check but its not happening :-(
any comments ??? really frustrated.

It depends on how good you are in creating a scenario and presenting your situation to them. If you simply walk in the MP's office and say " hey i have filed a PR and its almost 10 months and i have still not received the PPR " let me tell you that this is not gonna help because average processing time listed on CIC website is 17 months, so the MP is just gonna tell you to wait. However, if you tell them that "people who have filed months after you and people who have filed 2 weeks after you have got DM or received their PPR" in this case MP's office will take your situation into consideration and will contact the CIC to know whats wrong with your application and what are the reasons for the delay.

Congrats Aman. Have not seen any of the Ontario PNP applicants to get ppr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really worried and frustrated.

Just do what they say !!!seems they are not asking for photos and bio data lately and congrats. It's good seeing that the long wait is almost over for July applicants...congrats again and good luck

One Sinp applicant on this forum got ppr on 21st May and he/she applied on 2nd June too, so I think you will hear from them soon

no i mean A Section called "PAPER FILE" in the electronic notes you have , in page 2 you will find the summary of "PAPER FILE" then near the end of the notes, after ACTIVITY, you will see the detailed PAPER FILE History, where you can see how did your file move in the visa office

Everyone has that date from 2010....that must be the default date on the template they use. Just ignore it I guess.

I don't see any D. Harris in list of BC MPs. Did you mean Richard Harris from Cariboo-Prince George? Just want to know in case my MP just tells me to wait...I will give your example. Thanks!
