Applied on July 15, in process December 23, landing fee January 15.

Does anyone knows how long does CIO takes to reply to emails. I emailed them to confirm whether they received my RCMP certificate or not but no reply. My purolator tracking shows that they received it on 9th may

CIO generally takes 20 working days ...

they usually take a few days if its about documents. But if you know they already received it i wouldn't worry about it.

hi guys
i went to my MP's office today, told them my Aor is july 2 and in process since nov 29 2013, the secretary told me i have to wait overall 15 moths and beyond that if nothing happens then i can come to them !! i thought they wud help me do the status check but its not happening :-(
any comments ??? really frustrated.

Does any one know all the details of the process for completing the Eligibility portion of the application?

I am still waiting for Eligibility to pass and the Security to at least start while the Criminality and Medicals have passed.

Being employer sponsored BC PnP, what I'm curious about is whether CIC contacts my employer for written confirmation of sponsorship. Could they be waiting for someone at my company to return a form?

You should present your case as its different and that there has been a unusual delay, thn only they gonna treat ur case. If they think its normal, they will ask u to wait.

Have you heard whether the MP will want you to wait at least until the 17 month processing time listed on the CIC processing time page has passed?

Yes I did. Tell them that i emailed them but there is no reply till date and I know average time is 15 to 17 months but when some body already paid landing fee almost 5 months ago he or she should get ppr. I remember a year ago applicants were getting their pprs in between 4 months after medicals. Why this delay now!!!.
