2013 July application tracker to CIO Nova scotia

Was going through the Oct 13 forum and noticed that they are started to get the ppr and their ecas is changing to DM from IP. God knows what are they doing with the applications filed in Jun and July

I wish there was a way to complain against these officers, who think they are all in all and misusing the power they have got.

I emailed NS on 26th March for my file status and also applied for GCMS notes on the same day.
I didn't got any email back from NS and after a month i got GCMS notes.
My GCMS notes says my embassy is ottawa instead of NS. So, i emailed Ottawa on 29th April for file status. Now, strange thing is, today i got email from both embassy.

Ottawa embassy says


"Dear Applicant,

Your application is not in our office, you will need to contact the CIO Sydney office at CIO-Syndey-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca for any enquiries on your application.

Regards,.

NS says in email


"Good Day,

RE: APPLICATION #

Be advised medical results have been received and file currently awaiting review by an Officer.

Your new address has been updated to our system. Could you please confirm is this address your residential and your mailing or just residential.

I am just wonder that my GCMS notes says my embassy is Ottawaa and CIC says NS ??? ???
Also Ottawa took 2 days to reply me back while NS took 35 days to reply me.

Yea, maybe this month's gonna bring some good news because this really is too much of a waiting most applicants here are "in process" since December and in next 2/3 months their medicals gonna expire and CIC will have to call for the passport before that. I know of few applicants in the past who had to redo their medicals but the ratio is 5:50. I hope this month's gonna bring some positive update to all of us.

My ECAS status is still sitting at "Application Recieved" even tho I have received the email notifying the package is being transferred to a visa centre for processing (presumably Ottawa tho they didn't say where).

Guess what, guess what ? guess what ?

My sister just got an email from CIC with the title " Ready for Visa letter ". Yeah you heard that right

She applied 1st July 2013, and she got in process on 4th Dec 2013.

Finally CIC is moving...what a relief....) This thread was really useful to me and my sister.
