Hi Bro, I will get GCMS notes in few days.
This is my first note. So please help me to understand those notes.
I don't know even location of file NS or Ottawa.
I sent my file to NS.

Hello! Once you get your GCMS file the first page is actually a summary of your file..but not in it's entirety
Read through it it will say when the GCMS file was created, the Primary office ( which currently handles your file), Secondary office (the CIO which received your file), the number of applicants with your application, the number of visas, if RPRF was received or outstanding, the category you applied under..

It's very important to know as well the status of the Assessments:

Eligibility: not started/in process/passed
Criminality:not started/in process/passed
Security:not started/in process/passed
Medical: not started/in process/passed

Sub categories can be the police certificates and RCMP screening which falls under Criminality, will indicate their findings, when it was received..

Go through the pages and find the "NOTES" section..
Note1: usually contains the actual notes by the officer.

This is to give you a General Idea on how to read your Notes. Hope it helps.

I just received my GCMS notes.. Nothing has changed from the time I ordered them at the end of february. ( I ordered these the 23rd of march). But it sort of makes sense because the next time they review it, it should be decision made.. Hopefully the next few days

You and me both are the same... Hope we hear something in May atleast.

Remember I said that it would take about 14 months for my friend to hear anything regarding PPR... Well it kind of made sense because if you check your GCMS notes the bring forward date is exactly 14 months from the time you've submitted the application...I hope I'm wrong and I hope it's earlier than that.

In my GCMS my bring forward date/due date is September 2014 which is exactly 14 months from July...12 months from the time I got the Medicals done in October 2013. I don't know if they have to finish it by September or what, it baffles me.

I just can't wait! Moreover my Bank Draft has not yet been cashed. Keeping my fingers crossed. April is almost over and no updates yet.

i am really worry :(

The due date that is listed is for a reason. It is 12 months from medicals because medicals expire in a years time. The vast majority of applications will be completed before that expiry date.

I know. Hoping to get PPR before the expiry date because some people had to do it again... Since peopele who applied after July or even September are getting PPR.

I think there might be difference in physical and electronic notes.
I haven't got any interesting.
Some notes are unreadable very messy.
They mention about medical sent but nothing like medical received.
Nothing like pass or fail about medical security etc.
So i guess they started yet or those info we get in electronic notes.

i ordered the electronic notes, hope it will be different ..

most probably the physical file is a copy of your paper file as a whole .. but the other one is the notes wriiten on their system regarding the case ..
