They said that it would be a lot faster and since it was the secondary office mentioned in my file

Good luck .. at least you know what's going on

did you ask them, how they figure out it will be alot faster , as we all see CIO-NS is very fast process.

They also changed the Primary office from CIO NS to Manila Visa Office

Also, another question ..

Hi AINP2014! Manila sent the RPRF request and according to GCMS notes CIO NS sent a reminder letter to the visa office to sent a request for the fee as it is still outstanding.

I don't know why they would think it's faster I suppose because they request that to all of the applicants that my Representative handles... I'm from the Philippines so most applicants that I know are also transferred to Manila... They are also Filipinos.. But then again it depends... Processing time for Manila office is 14 months and Ottowa is 17 months.. These are just based on their website. A lot of people gets processed a lot faster here in Canada too I don't know why but one of the factors is if they applied under a certain category like skilled worker category.

In another thread on another forum I saw one particular applicant who's application was processed super fast and that's in Manila too I think it was within 6 months if I'm not mistaken.. I'll look for the thread and post it here.

I wish we don't have to wait too long.. Another special event in my son's life I've missed (Graduation day) and soon another birthday. :(

Let's all keep each other posted... Hopefully this month has more updates for us.

I have sent them a copy of the bank draft and sent an email stating that I have paid the RPRF both to Ottowa and Manila email add.

I don't think so buddy requesting for the notes would prolong your case.. never heard of it so far..
I guess its good bet to do it ...rather than awaiting on assumption....
apply for it and check it out... I would say...
