I too have a representative... And they never told me not to order GCMS notes.... When you order GCMS notes it is through CIC as well so it is safe... That's the system that they use to store each applicants profile... You have the right to access it that is why there's something called Access to Information Act.

The immigration officer that handles your case is not the one who sends you the Notes it is an ATIP officer who sends it to the applicants.

So far it doesn't seem to make any difference on the processing times...I have ordered 3 GCMS notes already.

i agree with what you are saying

what is the link to order GCMS and which one you order, information act or privacy act?

When did you apply for your last GCMS note? Please let me know, when you get it too because I have applied for my second GCMS note too on 22 March, 2014. the first one I applied, only asked to provide the notes on my file but this time I have applied for the whole file. Normally which one do you apply for? Please share your thoughts whether I have done any mistake asking for the whole file this time?

Any good news anybody?? PLease let me know when you receive your GCMS notes.. That will be very helpfull

Hello! I have always applied for the entire GCMS notes :D I will let you all know as soon as I get it, if there are changes and updates... I am expecting it anyday next week bec. I applied March 10 and it usually takes about 30 days.
My First GCMS was 32 pages long, 2nd was 35 pages.. I can't wait for the 3rd one.

I think it is right to order the entire Notes. ;)

Good luck to all of us!

I hope we don't have to wait too long..

If you are the principal applicant I don't think you have to because your GCMS notes will show every party in your application same as mine, I'm the principal applicant and it showed everything about my sons application..medicals etc..All the details will be there. ;D
