In application, I mentioned Sydney, NS. But its finalized in Ottawa.

you are also a good example supporting what i sated earlier that People selected Sydnney NS office in their application as their visa office had less processing time than people selected CPP-Ottawa office in their application as their visa office.

My return PR Visa express mail tracking is not showing any progress. The only thing I see is 'item processed at Ottawa. It has been like this for the past 2 days and was scheduled to be delivered today but hasn't received anything yet. Has anyone had similar experience, and if you do how did you resolve it. Please share.

For it's showing out for delivery, but nobody is at home, not sure will the put in Box or not.
Below is a status of my tracking number:

2014/03/14 09:02 CALGARY Item out for delivery
04:32 CALGARY Item processed at local delivery facility
2014/03/13 23:57 CALGARY Item processed
2014/03/12 18:40 OTTAWA Item processed

I think it doesn't matter which visa office you wrote on your application.

I saw return applications of two of my friends, they wrote visa office " Sydney, NS", at the time initial verification CIO officer crossed it and wrote "Ottawa,ON".

FYI, their application were returned one because of incorrect fee, another one not signed on Credit Card authorization form.

May be .. we are trying to understand the process .. but as i see from the posts here that there is difference in processing time between visa offices .. may be that's wrong ..

I am thinking they hired new employees.....newly hired employees picking the files which are in queue.

Yours may be already assigned to existing employees, they might have old applications to process. I know some people here who was applied in June and July they didn't have any update, but I applied in Aug, I received PPR eMail.

Just this is my assumption.

I received PPR today. So exited.....


I need an advise from experts, My wife is in India, I sent email back to CPP-ottawa...asking to arrange for her in India.

now my Question is , do I need to wait till they reply back about my wife COPR Process. or Can I send my passport in between

Congrats -- I also got my PPR this afternoon around 4 pm from Ottawa Office. I think it was transferred from CIO to there after DM.
