whats your primary office? have you ordered gcms?

In my application I mentioned CPP o and no I have not ordered the notes...

i would order notes to find out more.. but they arrive in a month's time

Thats what the problem is.. I was expecting by then i will receive PPR. You could not make out anything out of this mail right..

It's possible that your PPR may take extra time since your primary office is CPP ottawa

I sent my application to CIC NS and from there they transferred my application CPP O..

Yes, but if you read the last few pages I was explaining that CIO-NS acts as a 'first' review office, as well.. if you choose it. Then the file gets transferred to CPP-ottawa for final review & PPR. From reading the boards, if CPP-Ottawa does both first & final review, it takes longer.

I know unfortunately several instances where it took nearly 3-6 months after those who got PPR and put CIO-NS as their primary office. The people who put CPP-ottawa as primary office took them approximately 11-12 months after AOR to get PPR as opposed to ~ 6-7 months after AOR for those who put CIO-NS.

ok thats not a good news..

I know but this way you may know why its taking longer than expected and others are getting it quicker than you are. I would order GCMS notes, who knows you may be lucky and get it within the month.

That's true but it puts my mind at ease knowing what is happening on my case...:) just ordered my 3rd GCMS...

For now I think I'll just wait and see if there's any update.

Hi Friends,

I received PPR today. So exited.....

I need an advise from experts, My wife is in India, I sent email back to CPP-ottawa...asking to arrange for her in India.

now my Question is , do I need to wait till they reply back about my wife COPR Process. or Can I send my passport in between

I received the same email from CIO NS 2 months ago. I think it's a standard email content... They cannot provide anymore information than that.

My GCMS notes contains 35 pages which contains everything that I need to know and there are notes written by an immigration officer regarding the review of my application.

Although I'm still waiting for a decision, finding out that they have not started the Security Check last January, give me the idea that it's the reason why they actually have not made the decision yet. That's why I ordered a 3rd GCMS notes...to find out if they are don with the Security check..if it says passed then I'll know that they are done.

I'll get my notes first week of April... Hopefully the wait for the decision won't be long. ;D

Any idea how much time do they need to reply for GCMS request? IT's been more than 3 weeks but ni reply yet. I also sent email too CPP-Ottawa and CIO, NS and its also almost 3 weeks and waiting to hear back from them. Any idea, when may they reply or average time to get an answer from them.

You'll receive GCMS notes after 30 days.
