Yeah, from what I hear it nearly always takes longer for people whose primary visa office is CPP-Ottawa.. but like I said when they do start processing they are quick, they just take a long time to begin it. I assume that the security checks are done in the meantime but the file is not reviewed

I will wait and see what will they request?

I've heard that things move a little faster if you send documents and payments in before they ask for them.
Police Certificates, in my case.
We paid all our fees well ahead of them asking for payment. That helped.

Nerve-wracking, I can imagine. Perhaps still faster since they didn't have to send you a letter requesting payment of fees.

Hang in there...

Yes mine reached on Friday.
My Passport did reach today at 12:30pm. Do you know how long is it taking these days to get the passport stamped with CoPR?

@ hfinkel

important question .. who did request police certificates?

CIO-Sydney requested it by email.
Postal address at the top was:
P.O. BOX 1450
SYDNEY, NS B1P 6K5

They requested the documents be sent to:
PO Box 8400
Sydney, NS
B1P 0G6

Which was different than the PO Box used for PNP applicants:
PO BOX 1450

Hoping this isn't being handled as a non-PNP application.

@dior12
This is somethink not matching what we were discussing yesterday, how is his case .. CIO-NS requested the document .. i assume it should be the responsibility of CPP-Ottawa as you mentioned yesterday.
