That means they haven't started it yet... You can order another one to see if they have updated it or started processing the security check... When was your GCMS generated? You'll see it at the bottom of the page.

Hi,

Please enlighten me more. I know that GCMS stands for Global Case Management System but what is this for???
Do we really need this one If we're applying for PR and we want to know our application status?
or is this just optional?

Hello Forumites,

It appears this is not the right place for this question, but I am sure some of you seniors will have the answer to my question.

Does an applicant under PNP who is working in Canada with a Post Grad work permit need to show proof of fund in the application to CIC? Proof of fund is one of the requirements, but I am just wondering why someone who has a white collar job in Canada still have to be subject to this requirement.

Thanks

I don't quite know exactly the answer but if it is a requirement then you have to be prepared to atleast show that you have money saved up... In my case, I have asked other friends of mine who applied under the AINP category and they said I don't have to show proof of funds bec. It's an employer driven category and I was nominated by the province....

Hope you get the answer to your question.

Just be prepared. :D good luck!

As usual , new week and no update :(
