meron bang case s inyo n halos sabay ang MR for PR ng wife at MR for spouse oper work permit?

Pano nyo ba ginawa?

tumawag ako s CPP-O ang sabi eh kung medical exam for open work permit at PR ay halos same daw yung examination n gagawin pwd daw yun. Pero yung tinawagan ko ay call center lng. hindi clear ang sinabi kung pano ang sabi skin mg email s CCP-O kung ano gagawin.
ng email n ako kung paano gagawin s CPP-O hindi p ngrereply.

pero sabi s wife ko s st.lukes pipili lng daw sya kung anong form ang ipapadala at saan.
ang sabi ko s CEM ippapadala pra mapadali sila mgkavisa ng open work permit kasi plan nila pumunta d2 by jan.2014.
hindi ko pa nttawgan ang embassy s manila kung pwd nila iforward din ang result s CPP-O at kung pano.

Anybody who had a case where almost the same time MR for PR (submitted the application in CPP-O) and spouse open work permit (submitted the application in Canadian Embassy in Manila) have arrived?

According to call center of CIC if the same medical exam procedure done for PR and open work permit is used, then it can be used for both application. However, my concern is the call center attented to my inquiry did not guarantee it but to contact CPP-O or CEM (Manila) how should it be done.

I sent an email to CPP-O and i haven't received any reply yet.

And according to clinic in Manila, we have to choose one medical form to be used and where to send it.

I prefer to submit the medical result at CEM (manila) to have my dependent's visa in short span of time.

My wife UCI for her open work permit and PR are the same.

I dont see why the same medical result cant be used for both PR and Work Permit involving same person but you have to be cautious to prevent your application from being delayed. Here are my two pesos:

1. MR for in-Canada appicants comes from CIO-Sydney and not visa offices.
2. Results of medical examination are sent to a central office and not directly to the various visa offices.
3. MR comes with IMe # and this number may not be the same on the Medical Request for both PR and Work Permit. I know of someone who got MR for work permit and PR at almost the same time and the # are different for each.
4. I would do both medical examinations irrespective of the cost.
5. If you are still in doubt, consult CIC Manual for further clarifications.

JJ-C you're right for having differenct IME no.

Clinic said that during the conversation with my wife they will only produce one (1) medical result and we have to select to where it will be addressed. Maybe the clinic would understand what we wanted when they see two medical request forms.

I am in doubt with the answer of the call center agent who talked to me.

I will wait for the reply of CIC to my inquiry.
