I want to apply CEC (NOC "B") this month~~
but the new rule shows 2 difference standard of language requirements

1: L:5 , R:5 , W:4 , S:5

2: L:4.5 , R:4 , W:5 , S:5

which one can I correspond??? "1"or"2" ?? I am confused!!

Any one can help me???????

Thank you very much!!!

Seeming as how NOC 0 and A require CLB 7 and NOC B requires CLB level 5, and those are the ones highlighted in the table, I would assume option 1 (from your text) would be the more appropriate version. Obviously, if you want to be on the safe side too, you should shoot for CLB 5 - 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0

And based on my interepretation of the published statement "If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC B job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.", you would need to reach option 1 or CLB 5, which is 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0

Option 2 from your text would be CLB 4...

Sorry to bear the bad news.. But better you are clear up front, then get rejected and waste money. Good luck eh! :D

I will retake the IELTS exam ;)
I don't know where you live, but here in Toronto all tests have been booked until early March.

Not sure what to do as I also need to take IELTS myself

Just checked the new CELPIP, and its also booked up until at least March.

What about trying in the States. Maybe NY or NJ...its pretty close to Toronto. Thats what I would do if nothing else was available and you needed to get it done. Here is what I was able to pull up for NJ

Try it out and you may just have some luck.
