Hi everyone...

I'm (Canadian citizen) going to sponsor my wife (Indonesian citizen) and there's a possibility that we can only submit the sponsorship application to CPC-M at the end of January 2013. I usually file my taxes at the beginning of April (of any given year. Makes no sense to file too early anyway, since certain tax slips are only released by the end of February), so at the end of January I won't have my 2012 notice of assessment yet, and hence I don't think the CRA will even be able to provide the 2012 Option C printout.

Is it acceptable to submit the 2011 Option C printout (which I do have) instead?

We filed in April of 2012, but the most current option C the CRA had was for 2010, even tho my husband had filed his taxes for 2011 they didn't have option C for 2011 yet.... I am now awaiting the return of my passport and CoPR so I don't think this will be a problem.

We submitted ours without a Printout C. His taxes (from the last two years) were still in process and we HAD to submit our application because my police records were expiring soon.
We included a letter from his bookkeeper instead. :)
