The document is not useless, as you will need it later when claiming your pension. You are supposed to keep it safe.
Considering CPP is not funded and judging by present demographics I'm not banking on any pensions. I'm requesting a new one anyway for $30

Quick update: I've lost my record of landing which I require to have with me for the oath. I did some research on the internet and for the most part this doesn't appear to be a major problem. The record was in my desk drawer and appears to have disappeared after a recent office move. I'll continue looking for it (already torn my house apart) and I'll apply for a replacement on Monday.

Does anyone have any experience / knowledge about how this could affect my oath?

Thanks in advance.
First congratulation on your oath,,,,
Second on the day of ceremony they only ask you for the PR card and they take it away from you, that's it. As of you might need it for pension I have no clue about that.

Also considering filling out the case specific form online, you never know..they might give some valuable information. Also call the call center everyday if you can and demand an answer. We have to keep pushing these people otherwise nothing will happen.

what about case specific enquiry?

I can understand the situation. think if you don't see any progress from your last ATIP for 3-4 months after the 36 month mark, then mandamus is the only option I see. I can you can do it on your own. but have to put in lot of efforts. you can see the details in another thread.

Any idea why you got an RQ?

I hope yours will be done fast.

I migrated from middle east and my entire family got citizenship in year 2003

have to travel frequently to middle east for my business therefore I was not able

to meet the residency requirement but in the year 2008 I have settle down in

Canada and once I completed 100 percent sure that I have completed the

required number of days I have applied and after one year I got the residence questionnaire.

Have submitted all the required papers including board passes of my travel, cbsa report

health care report etc.... and since than am waiting for no valid reason...

officer reviewing my file since November 12, 2014... my file is sitting with st.clair

office March 2013..

This is unacceptable. I am unfortunately in the same situation as my case was assigned to an officer back in January 2015 and still no news. What I don't understand is that per CIC website the guideline for an officer to make a decision is
60 days (please see link below) but it looks it is the officer's discretion :)
