Are there any CHC Nairobi applicants who applied in 2006 or 2007?

I am trying to find out which year's applications are currently being processed.

I applied in November 2006 and got my AOR in February 2007

I also applied in september 2006, got AOR oct 2006. My status has been in process since then. How much longer shall we wait.

Hopefully not too much longer especially now that the rules have changed, it should favor us who have been in the queue aka backlog for donkey years.

Thankfully, I finally get to hear from someone who is almost on my timeline. Do you know of anyone else who applied around this time?

Am glad to knw am not alone. I so hope we shall hear some gud news this year. What prof. r u in Amo?

Nice to see my fellow Kenyans represented here.
Unfortunately, I did not apply from Nairobi so I do not have much insight on that, I applied from Sydney Australia and my documents were received early Jan, 2010 and around three weeks ago they sent me a letter to ambia me that my initial assessment is complete and they have waived my interview, I am now waiting for the medical and RPRF request which I think I will get before months end.
Good luck

@ Wanja - I am an auditor. and you? Are you currently in Kenya or?

@ AKenyan - lucky you

Thanks, I have some advice, what ever you do, do not use any agency and especially the one called WWICS located in Sarit Center.
I dallied with them when I was coming to Australia and suffice to say they are conmen with a capital C.
I have also read quite a number of posts from guys who are using agents in this Canada process and their results are invariably the same and that is disappointing and far slower than the ones using individual representation.
Agents suck because if they start delaying your stuff there is no sure method to accord a check and balance on them, all you can do is to try call them and you are met by a rude receptionist or some official giving you the same standard answer.
If you have an agent fire them and see how smooth your process will turn out.

Good Luck

Thanks all for contributing. @ Amo am a Registered Nurse. @ akenyan good advice I did't use any agent I hav had alot of neg info. Gud luck all and we shall make it to Canada soon.

Dears,

AKenyan I was reading your thread and notice that you applied from Australia, and u said that you came to australia.

You are now in the process of migrating to Canada, did u migrate to Australia? if yes then why are you migrating to Canada? what can you tell us about your Australian experience?

Thanks

@ Akenyan, good advise but too late for me. I used an agent and it has brought me no advantage at all. They did guarantee money back if i do not get it, so lets wait and see
@ Wanja, have you ever inquired about the status of your application from the visa office in nairobi? What was the response? I went there at the beginning of may and my agent also inquired and got the standard response that my application is within the standard processing times bla bla bla

Hi fellow kenyans, any news frm nrb Chc. Whn i inquired it was some story in process. What r the new timelines.

Sasa Wanja, I think I saw somewhere that the fastest applications are now being processed within 63 months.

Poa Amo, i guess we just to be patient then. I believe if we hav waited four years one more won't seem that long. Thanx n lets keep each updated.
